The scary thing is that that manual is 30 years old and we are still stuck with the same old stuff. The upgrade to the next generation of LBE/LBV and rucksack is taking sooooooo damn long.......

The best thing about it is that the LBE is still effective today as it was 30 years ago

Some folks want ever learned, plastic grocery bags arent going to cut it.

I have a few LBV & plate carriers.

Here a new pix, it has kevalar panels, with two level 3 plates.
Just added a mag pouch (holds four mags) also a pouch for my tactical flashlight ,havent decided on what other pouches to add yet, any suggestions?

I just use the Vietnam Era LBE with some of the ALICE equiptment thrown in.
