I finally got all the necessary 1099's this week and went to the CPA who does my taxes. Gonna get back a total of $2605 in refunds federal and state....
So today I went through my old records and bills having a look at them. I had some dating back to 2006. These are no longer needed for anything so I got busy running them through my paper shredder. Mine is a crosscut shredder which slices and dices paper into tiny little very short strips.
Would ya believe that I filled three 13 gallon trashbags three quarters of the way full when finally done. This is what happens when I put doing this job off. Hauled them out to the trash bin. If some sorry assed dumpster diver finds them he is gonna be shit out of luck. I shred everything that has my name and address on it. Even junk mail.
I learned all about document security and destruction while in the Army Security Agency. Back then we burned everything. Not practical these daze so I just shred and into the trash bin for pickup.
So what am I gonna spend my tax refund money on? I am thinking of buying a nice looking US $20 dollar Double Eagle gold coin. I have always wanted one and if what I am hearing is true the price of gold is down now.
The progturds are shouting that the new Trump tax bill will result in lower refunds.
To them I say, if you get a tax refund, you just made an interest free loan TO Donald Trump.
You can hear a pin drop.
Having said that to the trolls, a $20 gold piece is a sexy piece to own.

I always buy firearms or upgrades and gear with mine.
