MAYBE THEY JUST GOT LOST

The government has a problem.

On the border with Mexico, when the Mexican military comes into our country, and shoots at our border agents, the government doesn’t know what to do.

You think I’m kidding?

According to the Department of Homeland Security, the Mexican military has crossed with force onto the sovereign territory of the United States more than 200 times in the last decade. That’s 20 times a year, or once every two and a half weeks.

Their army brings its guns and comes into our country.

I believe the word for that is “invasion.”

And the United States government doesn’t know what to do.

Personally, I think we should kill them.

I think that’s true of all foreign armies that come to our country without an engraved invitation. I think we should kill them.

See, we’re a polite country, with a grab-your-ankles devotion to being politically correct. But there are some lessons history teaches us.

And one is that foreign armies are never bearers of good news. They always have mischief on their mind. And you should never let them come over for a visit. You should just basically presume that they’re trouble and they need to be killed.

Nothing against Mexico, per se, it’s just the principle of the thing.

You see this line? This is my side and that is your side and let’s make sure we each stay on our own sides.

Or I’ll kill you.

Heck, we’ve got all these planes and bombs and helicopter gun ships. It seems like we ought to use them sometime. And there’s no time better than this.

Mostly, the Mexican military is running protection for drug lords bringing contraband into the United States. Which tells you a little bit about Mexico and its military.

And their integrity.

Anyway, it’s gotten so bad that the Border Patrol has issued a warning about “military incursions” to its agents in Arizona. According to the memo – as reported in the “Washington Times” – the “incursions” are made up of commandoes who have been “trained to escape, evade and counter-ambush.”

Which hardly seems friendly.

An example would be the July attack against two Border Patrol agents near Nogales, Arizona. They were ambushed by guys in military clothing and using military weapons. The bad guys fired more than 50 rounds, wounded the two officers, and used military “cover-and-concealment” maneuvers to retreat into Mexico.

So what was in the memo?

When the government warned our agents on the border that a neighboring country was making military incursions into our territory, what orders were given? How does the United States government want the Border Patrol to handle this?

By staying “as quiet as possible.”

Which is a far cry from: Engage them, repel them, kill them.

Instead, the people charged with securing the border of the United States have been ordered to maintain “a low profile” and to hide behind “shadows and camouflage.”

And, of course, the bureaucracy loving its paperwork, the agents are instructed how to fill out the reports necessary to properly file information on the incursions.

Which must really scare the Mexicans.

There’s nothing more terrifying to an invading army than somebody with a clipboard and forms that have to be filled out in triplicate.

And there’s nothing more compromising to a nation’s territorial integrity than a government that won’t protect it. And so my question for President Bush is this: Where’s that “Git ‘er done” attitude now?

I thought we were the “Bring it on” people.

I thought we were the ones who were going to defend our homeland. I thought protecting America was the president’s job and he was going to do it.

We’ve taught the Islamists a lesson. Maybe somebody else needs to be educated.

Maybe the government of Mexico needs to be reminded that good fences make good neighbors.

And maybe President Bush or Secretary Rice need to have a man-to-man with Vicente Fox and tell him that if he doesn’t keep his army on his side of the border we’re going to stick our army up his, uh, sovereign territory.

This has been going on for some time; It is a invasion and should be met with deadly force.I don't think it would take much deadly force to discourage a bunch of fucking mexicans.Imagine what would happen if one of the minute men killed a couple of the beaners....?

Mexican Military crossed into U.S. 216 times since '96

Posted: 01/17/2006 07:00:04

ONTARIO, Calif. (AP) -- According to a newspaper report, members of the Mexican military have crossed into the United States more than 200 times during the past nine years.

The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin reports that there have been 216 incursions by Mexican soldiers since 1996, citing a Department of Homeland Security document the paper obtained.

A Mexican government spokesman denies that there have been any incursions by military personnel in recent years.

The document says that 58 of the crossings were around El Centro, in California's southeast corner and 17 were in San Diego County.

In Arizona, 63 were in the Border Patrol's Tucson or Yuma sectors. The balance were in Texas, with 33 of those in the El Paso sector.

I don't think Bush is anyone's hero any longer. The man is either incredibly stupid or arrogant. Thank goodness his time is coming to a close, for another four years of him may just push us over the edge.

Until then, we need to keep a dubious eye on him and support him where we can.

Speak for yourself, I have a very short list of things I wish GWB did better and the border is one of them.
On the other hand this problem has been through quite a few Presidents and cyanide is just barking the liberal mantra now.

Well, JJ, I went to college a long time ago, so I won't pretend to understand modern economics. However, I just don't get what the deal is with the debt and trade deficeit.

Service economies are dependent economies. Cut off our shipping lanes and see how many tires and tanks we can produce, let alone a pair of jeans.

I mean, JJ, that China is not a Country full of rice growers. It is a modern civilized society. They are going to own us. Lot's of big money realizes this, thus the Buffets, Gates, and Soros of the world are moving away from dollars.

Corporations look good because they can set up in slave wage countries, while the worker here at home becomes a slave to debt and taxes.

Bush has done nothing to address this issue. He just keeps spending money from the future.

I would start by creating incentives for corporations to stay in the states, via tax breaks and credits.

I would make it possible for any who wished it to get at least a two year degree.

I would crack down on illegals and fine heavily those that hire them, with farming being the exception, but it would be a regulated guest worker plan.

Health care would be nationalized and tiered. You can have better options if you can pay, but you will have catostrophic coverage and an R/x plan no matter what, with one annual check-up per year for males and two for women.

Real alternative fuel development incentives. Fuck oil, we can do better.

That's a good start.

Bush was definetly better than the other option, but certainly not our best. Hell, JFK was more conservative. We just didn't have any other choice on the ticket and thats just the way it is.

Sure you can vote for a third party runner (there are some good ones), if it makes you feel better. Then you will wake up the morning after the election with some clinton type peice of shit in office.

IMO Bushes greatest failing is not protecting our borders and thats no small deal. He's done pretty damm well with the "War on Terror" the only thing that protects terrorist now is the dems. His team did in a few weeks what the soviets couldn't do in years in Afgahn.

If Bush is a turd, I'm curious to know what that makes Cheney?

My thinking is that Cheney must of learned all of his hawkish theories at Yale (where he withdrew) or perhaps at the University of Wisconsin (liberal heartland) where he did graduate work....but never at the the University of Wyoming, where he was an arts major....

At least W was true to his heritage and just accepted his privileged role and finished at Yale rather than try to deny it by going on some type of walkabout into the liberal heartland

With Daddy sending those allowance checks, W was free to keep partying with the elites

And you thought Lincoln was a socialist... [Big Grin]

For crissakes, ALL of these politicians have about as much in commnon with anyone here as the queen of england has with jack the ripper

Yet you Bushies go on like he is Christ reincarnated...and you thought us liberals had the market cornered on thought control.

I don't consider myself a "Bushie", but it's either the ballot box or the cartridge box so I vote the lessor of the evils.

Your right of course about polititions, which is why they were never intended to have as much power as they do now. That genies out of the bottle and there ain't any of us that have the cork.

Anyone or anything can easly enter this country through its southern border.Far more dangerous than Iraq or Afghanistan. That the Bush lovers ignore this fact and try to brush it off is quite remarkable...

The fact that the borders ARE so porous suggests that the terrorist threat is more hype than fact. There aren't enough Jack Bauers to counter the countless minions that could have entered and created terror.

Not even a suicide bus bomber...

War on terror? Or is it a war on our rights based on a terror incident?

There's one thing for sure and certain, neither Bush nor Cheney learned any of their hawish theories at the University of Vietnam. Both of them skated and used their family connections to avoid service in Southeast Asia. I voted for Bush both times, due entirely to a lack of anyone better to cast my votes for. It's a shame that a country as great as this, can only come up the likes of Kerry, Gore, Klinton and yes, even as a life long Republican, I will add Bush to that list of half baked socialist, one world candidates. It's one hell of a note when a sitting POTUS sits idily by and allows an invasion across our borders by armed foreign troops and does nothing at all about it.

If I'd had the opportunity to vote for a viable third party candidate I would gladly have done so. But there wasn't one, so sadly I again had to hold my nose and vote for the lessor of the two evils.

Oh my , it was his fault that we were attacked in the first place - he appointed a worthless black woman to NSA and through her inaction we got fucked by the Arabs.

Hell he even knew she was just a public relations appointment and moved her to a less sensitive position as soon as he could.

I maintain - Bush is a turd that will only be surpassed by Lincoln in history

I think you have your time line fucked up.
It was on clintoons watch that the plan was hatched and the training of the arab scumbags so called pilots was done.
It was on clintoons watch that obl was let go when he was offered to us.
It was on clintoons watch period, the actual attack date fell on GW's watch but not the making of 9/11.

It's a shame you have such a short memory when it comes to this particular time line.
You see cyanide clintoon was getting head in th oval office while this was being put into motion, clintoon was then engrossed in impeachment hearings and fighting to keep his so called presidency from going under further than it had.

He created the situation that took him away from his duty as our President where he might have done something that prevented the attack of 9/11.

The blame for 9/11 falls directly on clintoon for his eviscerating of our military and the evisceration of our clandestine Intel gathering agencies.
