Hi,

Anyone have any experience good or bad with their AR clones? Any input would be appreciated.

Regards,
Booker

Alot of happy RRA owners, if you go with RRA,be sure to pay extra for a chrome lined barrel.
Also RRA is 4140 steel vs 4150 steel barrels.
This is why I went with Bushmaster & Colt, cause their closer to mil spec.

I built an SP-1 Clone from a Rock River Arms lower and Bushmaster internals. Good, accurate, dependable gun.

Find me a good gun forum where they actually know what they are talking about. Instead of the usual AK vs. AR BS. Gettin tired of it. So thanks for your input everyone and if ya know of a GOOD gun forum throw that url my way.

Booker

Yer gonna find that on every Gun Forum. Similiar to the old Chebby vs Ford line of discussions.

If I get a good GF lined up I'll PM it to ya so the BHM troll-weenies don't follow you there and screw that up.

I happen to live about 50 miles from their plant. The only thing I ever got from them was a AR 15 reciever only and that was when they were operating in a barn behind their house by the Rock River in Cleveland , IL
Really nice people however I hear pretty backlogged due to demans and contracts.

Booker,

When I had my Bushmaster I decided to put it through the paces. I had S&B, winchester and wolf 55 grn ammo (about 500 rounds)and started at 100 yard's distance. Beside me was a fella with a Rock River and not that we were in competion, we just both had ammo and wanted to shoot. Anyway, for every round I shot, he shot. When we checked targets, his did not look any worse than mine (we were both Marines so it isn't like it's a new weapons system to us). Although the range did not offer any distance beyond 200 yards as I recall, reliability was not an issue with his Rock River Arms.

Best of luck

Alot of folks like RRA cause their purdy and lower price.
Their decent AR's for the money, but like mention in my previous reply, they arent made the same.

I have a new Rock River 20" A-4 and it's as good of an example of an M-16 clone as I've found. The upper and lower are nice and tight and the fit and finish of the whole weapon is first class. I have five other AR's and the Rock River is among my favorites.
